BY ACCEPTING THE FOLLOWING “TERMS AND CONDITIONS” OF HELLOTASK, YOU (THE USER/CUSTOMER) ARE AGREEING TO ALL THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS WITHOUT EXCEPTION.

The Terms and Conditions stated herein (collectively, the “Terms and Conditions” or this “Agreement”) constitute a legal agreement between you, the User/customer and hellotask (the “Company”).  In these Terms, references to “you”, “User” shall mean the user/customer accessing the Website/Application, its contents and using the Services offered through the Website/Application. References to the “hellotask”, “hellotask.com”, “application”, “website”,  “we”, “us” and “our” shall mean the Website and/or hellotask. In order to use the Service defined below, you must agree to the Terms of Use that are set out in the following.

The Company reserves the right to modify, vary and change the Terms of Use or its policies related to the Service at any time as it deems fit. Such modifications, variations and or changes to the Terms of Use or its policies relating to the Service shall be effective upon the posting of an updated version at hellotask. You must agree that it shall be your responsibility to review the Terms of Use regularly whereupon the continued use of the Service after any such changes, whether or not reviewed by you, shall constitute your consent and acceptance to such changes.

 

  1. Order Process:
  • User/Customer must need smartphone/smart device that has access to hellotask website or application. Application is available at both App store and Google play store. Internet is must to connect and order through this application.
  • Request must be placed through application/website. No order will be placed through on request or phone call.
  1. Time:
  • We try to send you maids on demand at your doorstep within 20 minutes. But due to huge traffic or unavoidable circumstances it may take maximum 4 hours. You can make a complaint against your assigned maid and we will look into the complaint.
  • Due to Protest, Political Instability, Curfew, Blockade or any Governmental order it may make our maids reach your house impossible and your request can be cancelled. You will be notified the reason and you won’t be charged at all.
  1. Cancellation Policy:
    • User/Customer can cancel any request within 5 minutes while searching for a maid. After establishing connection with a maid, within 1 minute anyone can cancel.
    • If you don’t let your requested maid start work after she reaches your house or cancel after 1 minute of connection with maid, you will be Fined 50 Tk which will be deducted from your e-wallet. In that case if your e-wallet balance is 0Tk, that will show “-50Tk” and this charge will be adjusted in next payment.
  1. Work Procedure:
  • You shall press the “maid arrived?” button and scan the QR code from the maid to start work after she will reach the place. Before that you will describe her what tasks are to be done and some dos and don’ts.
  • Once you scan the QR code after “starting work” on your app with your permission that will count time and will be considered as working time and the final bill will be calculated automatically on the working time.
  • If you/your maid wants to pause working for any unavoidable reason, you can press “pause” button on you app scanning the QR code. To resume scan the same code.
  • If you think your maid is done working, you can stop the work on the app. After pressing “end service”, please scan the QR code again to end the task and that will show the bill on the screen.

 

  1. Purpose of Work:

5.1 User can request for maid only for the following purposes:

  1. Cooking
  2. Washing
  3. Cleaning and Mopping

5.2 You cannot make your maid look after your baby. Maid will not work as your babysitter.

5.3 You cannot use your maid to bring something from outside your house.

5.4 Maids will work only at the flat/house of the user who requested for maid. Using maid to work for another flat/house is not allowed.

5.5 You cannot make her wash or clean something that is very nasty and may make maid sick, cause vomit or nausea.

  1. Payment Policy:
  • After pressing “End Service” scanning the QR code from maid, the calculated bill will be showed on the screen of the service application.
  • The bill will be calculated on the basis “working time”. The bill must be paid on hourly basis. Per hour charge will be determined according to the company policy. That may vary time to time.
  • You will be charged minimum of 1 hour bill excluding base fee if your maid has to work less than 1 hour.
  1. Things You Cannot Do:
  • You cannot send your maid outside the house for anything.
  • You cannot leave your maid locked at home from outside.
  • You are suggested help your maid use electric/electronic device like washing machine, laundry, oven, blender etc. Do not let your maid use your mobile, computer, tab and television. If any accident is made to these devices by your maid, you cannot claim any complaint. Company will not take responsibility for any damage of your electric/electronic devices that you let your maid use.
  • You cannot make your maid look after your baby. Maid will not work as your babysitter.
  • You cannot use your maid for any illegal, offensive or destructive, violent activities. In that case company can take any legal action and cooperate with the law enforcement agencies against you.
  1. Safety and Security Policy:
  • You are requested to be conscious and check your personal belongings before maid leaves your place. A notice that you are requested to sign after ending the service will disclaim any involvement of the maid or the company after the maid’s leaving the place.
  • If you doubt/catch any maid red handed for theft, you can search her before leaving. If you experience any situation like theft or doubt of theft or any harm by the maid, you are requested to call at the office. Our representative will immediately take action on the complaint.
  • Any sexual or physical abuse, violence, scolding, misbehavior with our maid is strictly prohibited. If any user is found to be offensive with our maid, we will take legal action against him/her according the existing law.
  • If any maid is proven to be offensive/thief, company will sack off the maid immediate and cooperate with you to take any legal action against her.
  • Company will take no responsibility of any theft/robbery/any accident that doesn’t prove any involvement of the assigned maid.

If any incident/occurrence/accident/illegal activity is carried out by any user/customer/organization/service provider, the corresponding user/customer/organization/service provider shall take the responsibilities and hellotask may take any legal step against the corresponding person/organization.

  • Due to Protest, Political Instability, Curfew, Blockade or any Governmental order it may make our maids reach your house impossible and your request can be cancelled. You will be notified the reason and you won’t be charged at all.
  1. Cancellation Policy:

If any customer wants to cancel the package before expiry, we will refund the outstanding fee in their e-wallet that can be used to enjoy on demand maid service.

 

  1. Purpose of Work:

  1. Subscription:

5.1 In case of package, company holds the right to select dedicated maid but users’ priority will be emphasized upon availability of the maid.

5.2 User can make request to change a maid only once in one subscription.

5.3 Subscription will follow the days in a row. Irregular days of service will not be processed.

5.4 In package, a dedicated maid will serve you in a row. In case of her absence/sickness/inability, we may send you another maid instead if you agree.

  1. Payment Policy:

6.1 Full payment shall be made in advance of the package service.

6.2 If the package is cancelled by the customer, outstanding fee will be adjusted to their e-wallet balance.

6.3 In case of termination of the package by the company the outstanding fee will be refunded in cash in 15 working days.

  1. Things You Cannot Do:
  • You cannot send your maid outside the house for anything.
  • You cannot leave your maid locked at home from outside.

2.1 Maids will be sent to your place at the time slot you choose on the pre-booked day. They may take maximum 1.5 hours extra to reach your house for any unavoidable reason. If it takes more than 1.5 hours, we will compensate with 50 Tk in cash.

2.2 Due to Protest, Political Instability, Curfew, Blockade or any Governmental order it may make our maids reach your house impossible and your request can be cancelled. You will be notified the reason and you won’t be charged at all.

  • You cannot hold the maid longer than the pre-booked time or will be charged extra payment as per company’s policy.
  1. Cancellation Policy:

To cancel the pre-booking users shall inform the office at least 12hours before the arrival time. In case of cancellation on the pre-booked day without prior information, users must pay 200 Tk as compensation. Otherwise, we will ban the user immediately.

  • It may take minimum 7 days to get you connected with a verified maid. If we cannot find a suitable maid as per your requirement, we will let you know through phone call or sms or app notification.
  1. Agreement:
  • Hellotask will find you a suitable maid as per your requirement with an agreement of 3 months. By this time if the maid leaves the job, we will find you a new one without any charge.
  • If your maid is absent any day in any month, we will send a backup maid for that day without any cost.
  • Within 3 months of an agreement if you want to change your maid, a substitute maid will be provide only once within the time span of the agreement.

 

  1. Cancellation Policy:
  • If you want to sack off the maid, you need to notify her at least 7 days before the new calendar month.
  • If any customer sacks off the maid at the middle of any month, he/she will have to pay the salary of the maid of at least 15 days. The outstanding payment will be refunded in cash within 7 working days.
  1. Maid’s Attendance:
  • A QR code on the maid’s ID card needs to be scanned for her attendance every day. No scan will count absence for the day.
  • The QR code must be scanned with hellotask app every day.
  • An attendance token must be given to the maid on that day if the customer is unable to scan the QR code.
  1. Maid’s Salary:
  • The salary of maid will be calculated on 30 days a month.
  • For any absence salary will be cut down as per days of absence.
  1. Payment Policy:
  • Full payment along with the service charge shall be made in advance for the first month within 3 days of the agreement.
  • A salary bill based on the attendance of the maid, will be generated in your app automatically.
  • Salary of the maid shall be paid either through our payment gateway of the app or in cash to our agents in advance of any month.
  • Any direct payment to the maid will terminate the agreement and we will take no responsibility or complaint regarding the maid any further.

  • If you doubt/catch your maid red handed for theft, you can search her before leaving. If you experience any situation like theft or doubt of theft or any harm by the maid, you are requested to call at the local police station.
  • Any sexual or physical abuse, violence, scolding, misbehavior with our maid is strictly prohibited. If any user is found to be offensive with our maid, we will take legal action against him/her according to the existing law.
